Travelport Southern Africa Expands Airline Content for Agencies

Travelport Southern Africa has announced a series of new airline content activations and platform enhancements as momentum continues to build across the Travelport+ ecosystem.

Recent airline implementations and content additions now available through Travelport+ include Air Mauritius, Xiamen Airlines, Alaska Airlines, Garuda Indonesia, Hainan Airlines, Akasa Air, Atlantic Airways, Azerbaijan Airlines, Uzbekistan Airways and Widerøe.

The additions continue to strengthen the breadth of global airline content available to travel agencies, giving agents broader access to international carriers, more retailing flexibility and improved traveller choice within a single platform.

Alongside the airline updates, Travelport enhancements to Flight Search and Smartpoint Cloud will be released in the coming week, aimed at improving workflow efficiency, usability and the overall retailing experience for agents.

For Southern African agencies, the continued expansion of airline participation and platform functionality forms part of Travelport’s broader strategy to simplify modern travel retailing while enabling access to richer content and smarter selling tools.

“Travel agents need access to broad content, efficient workflows and strong support structures in order to compete effectively in a rapidly evolving travel environment. Every new airline activation and platform enhancement strengthens the value of the Travelport ecosystem for agencies across Southern Africa.” said Darren Osbourn, CEO of Travelport Southern Africa.

Travelport Southern Africa continues to invest in local support capability, communications and market enablement as part of its long-term strategy to strengthen agency partnerships across the region.
